Letterkenny C.D.P. is a voluntary group of caring and supportive people. Their ambition is to improve our community for all, by encouraging participation, personal development and inclusiveness throughout their programmes and facilities. Pictured alongside the team, is Margaret Toner – Voluntary Manager @ Letterkenny C.D.P (who just last year received the first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award from DLDC in recognition of her life’s work helping others).
Letterkenny C.D.P was established, to address the identified needs of disadvantaged target groups who felt powerless over their circumstances and who wished to improve their lives by participating in the decision-making process the affects their lives.
They organise various Community Events throughout the year encouraging participation by all their target groups and also encourage a partnership approach by engaging other voluntary community groups. We enjoy collaborating with Letterkenny C.D.P via Shop LK on #HalloweenFest and other community based events throughout the year.
The C.D.P Charity Shop is based in The Courtyard Letterkenny – we are thrilled to have the Letterkenny CDP team as part of our Chamber Membership.
