Established in 2021 by Barry Doherty and Charlie Vial, the business has been transforming agricultural sectors with their advanced biostimulants helping farmers, horticulturists and grounds-keeping professionals boost yields while preserving natural ecosystems.

Historically in Ireland, seaweed is harvested by hand, and C-BIO continues to honour this tradition by harvesting their own seaweed with a sickle, allowing for natural regrowth and sustains the harvest for future generations.

🌎The business has fostered strong relationships with clients across the globe in USA, Europe, Africa and Asia, they currently have over thirty long-term clients. The Donegal brand boasts a diverse range of Ascophyllum nodosum products – which is a variety of brown algae seaweed. This active ingredient has been the cornerstone of traditional farming for centuries, and is packed with natural biostimulants, growth hormones and essential nutrients.
Their most popular product is its C-BIO CPS which is a natural seaweed biostimulant designed to help plants withstand and recover from challenging environmental conditions as well as other stresses.
