Established in 2010, Freshtoday has proudly served as an industry leader in the preparation and delivery of healthy school lunches throughout Ireland.They have been a trusted partner in the Irish education system ensuring children in schools receive nutritious and delicious meals to fuel their day.
Freshtoday’s journey began with just 1 school. Today, in their 15th year, they have expanded our reach to over 650 schools across Ireland.
That expansion includes the great county of Donegal, proudly providing healthy, nutritious hot and cold lunches to 65 schools throughout the county including schools on Tory and Arranmore Islands. They have generated employment for 45 people in Donegal in school operations, logistics, customer service and sales departments
Fresthtoday have opened their first facility in Letterkenny and are delighted to announce a second facility will be opened in Buncrana by September 2025. By opening these facilities it allows Freshtoday to better control the operations throughout Donegal, which puts them in a position to further enhance the overall experience to schools and pupils throughout Donegal.
All schools in Ireland can now avail of free school meals under the Department of Social Protection.
