Letterkenny Chamber meets with Irish Water on water infrastructure development
Water Infrastructure Plans for Letterkenny
Irish Water representatives, both national and local, met with the Chamber to outline the work they have achieved and planned in the area.
Following the briefing, Chamber President Leonard Watson said, “the briefing enabled the Chamber to learn The Plans Irish Water have to improve and future proof the water and sewerage infrastructure. This was a timely meeting in terms of the extent of work that is planned for the wider Letterkenny area. We were pleased to open the lines of communication on a very direct basis with Irish Water. Those present listened to and addressed our issues and concerns. We feel they have taken these on board and will take them into consideration when work is being planned and carried out.”
“We understand that Continued improvement to our water infrastructure is crucial in the coming years as we plan for growth in population and business. The briefing offered us the opportunity to learn about the work currently being undertaken and about plans for the future.”
