Lorraine can offer you a daytime or evening appointment from Monday to Friday. Your injury will be assessed as quickly as possible in order to minimise the delay in you returning to your work and leisure activities. There is free parking at the rear of the building and there is a lift to take you to Level 2 where the clinic is based.
With seven years experience in private practice, Lorraine Boyce Chartered Physiotherapist can assess your injury, treat the immediate symptoms and also analyse the factors that may have contributed to the development of the injury in the first place. It is very important that these predisposing factors be addressed in order to prevent recurrence of the symptoms.
Techniques that may be used are:
- Therapeutic Massage
- Joint Mobilisation
- Ultrasound Therapy
- Exercise Therapy including Balance Retraining and Core stability Training
- Postural advice and instruction in Back Care
Lorraine worked in New Zealand for a year in 2008 in a busy practice, Cape Physio. She was Physiotherapist for Paraparaumu Rugby Football Club, premier and second division teams in 2008.
